to Rosenblatt High School junior Lena Stein, who won a silver key in the
Scholastic Art Contest. This is a most prestigious
contest and it is extremely difficult to win.
“I am so
proud of her and the fantastic work she has been doing in AP art this year,”
said art teacher Mrs. Anita Schwartz.
Lena will receive a Silver Key award for her painting Peaches on Tinfoil (acrylic on canvas). The Regional Scholastic Art Exhibition for Palm Beach and Martin Counties will open Friday, February 13, 2015 at 5 p.m. beginning with a small outside ceremony to present the awards to the students who won gold or silver key awards or honorable mention recognition.

exhibition will be open until February 21, 2015. All students who
received either a gold key or silver key in this year's
Scholastic Art Contest will show their work in this exhibition. This year the
exhibition will be held at the Armory Art Center. 1700 Parker Avenue, West Palm
Beach, Florida 33401.
