What a great event today's Club Fair turned out to be. There was excitement and energy in Zinman Hall as students went from decorated table to table selecting the clubs that they wanted to be a part of. Club presidents were on hand to explain the importance of their clubs and eagerly encouraged students to join. Some of the club choices were Unicorn & Friends Club/Friends of Israel Defense Forces/Visual Marketing/Pre-Med/Chess Club/Teens of Pink Ribbon/Statistical Analysis/Legacy Heritage/Lighthouse/Project Jump/Sports and Outdoors/Business Club/Dance/What's in Your World/Law and Mock Trial/Video Game Club/Israeli Music Club/Moot-Beit-Din/Dance and more! Clubs will start the week of September 5th.

Shabbaton 2016
Rosenblatt High School students and faculty celebrated a wonderful Shabbaton together in Orlando this past weekend. We had an amazing time at Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park, maneuvering our way, as individuals and groups, through a variety of challenge courses high up off of the ground. This awesome activity was followed by a meaningful and spirited Shabbat, with many sessions and activities developed and led by our Shabbaton committee. After a moving havdalah and exciting Saturday night activity, we had a BBQ at a local park on Sunday, and finished the weekend with a comedy murder mystery show in Orlando.

We Had An Exciting Week at Rosenblatt High School!
We had an exciting week at Rosenblatt
High School!
The 9th grade joined us on Friday, August
19th, for a day-long program preparing them for the transition to High School.
On Sunday, our Seniors participated in "College Boot Camp," with Mrs.
Rockman, our Director of College Counseling. And, this past Monday, we welcomed
everyone to school.
We are excited about all of the courses,
programs and activities this year, including the annual Shabbaton this weekend
in Orlando. Our Shabbaton committee (pictured), along with faculty and staff, have been
working very hard to make it a great weekend.
In addition to new faculty and students,
we are also introducing new and updated courses in various departments, as well
as a host of new electives: Electrical Engineering; Rock and Roll in American
History; Sports, Arts and Entertainment Law; and Digital Graphic Design 2.
Stay tuned as we post updates regularly
on our blog.
Shabbat Shalom
